2020 Simple Man

Simple Man is named after the 'salt of the earth' farmers that grow our Zinfandel grapes. This vintage comes from the famed Dante Dusi Vineyard, known for their old vine, dry farmed & head trained Zin which was planted in 1945. Our 2020 Simple Man has indulgent aromas of Luxardo cherry, Bourbon vanilla bean and coconut macaroon, with beautiful red rose. On the palate, dried cranberry, freshly ground mahlab and all spice with wet concrete-like minerality; finishes with a decadent chocolate cherry liqueur finish and black peppercorn. Pair with a cheesecake topped with blueberry compote for a little slice of heaven! Will age wonderfully for 3-5 years.
