Policies

Return Policy

We will replace or refund you for any bottle of wine that is damaged or flawed. By law, these are the only circumstances under which we are allowed to refund a wine purchase. We ask the customer to return the unfinished portion of the original bottle for replacement. We are also unable to accept return of wine that was damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, or wine that is ordered in error. Please send an email to howl@greywolfcellars.com to arrange for the return of the corked or flawed wine. Once the wine is received, we will send a replacement or refund your credit card for the cost of the wine.


Cancellation Policy

Any order cancelled within 48 hours of emailed invoice may be cancelled without penalty. Please contact howl@greywolfcellars.com. Any invoiced order cancelled within 48 hours after will incur a 25% restocking/cancellation fee, unless it has been shipped.


Shipping Policy

I am 21 years of age or older. Shipping charges for returned & redelivered shipments will be at the customer’s expense.

Grey Wolf Cellars & Barton Family Wines uses the ‘best method’ to deliver your wine in the most economical and efficient manner, when available. We ship using Golden State Overnight (GSO) for orders shipped within California, Nevada and Arizona, and FedEx or UPS for all other states. If you need us to use a different carrier, please email or call us. Shipments may be delayed to avoid temperature extremes. For date-sensitive orders, please call us directly. The package tracking number will be sent to the person placing the order via email once the order has shipped (timing will vary depending on carrier).

Please inspect all packages as soon as they are received. If they are of your satisfaction, enjoy! If not, please continue with the steps below:

Should any bottle(s) be broken, please contact howl@greywolfcellars.com within 48 hours of arrival so that we can initiate a claim with our fulfillment center.

Please keep the original package(s) and its contents exactly as you found them (if at all possible). We will arrange to have the wine picked up in most cases. Understand that if the broken product cannot be retrieved, we cannot receive compensation for the loss. Returns cannot be processed after 10 days.


Terms and Conditions for any and all of our Wine Clubs

As required for a wine club membership, I agree to the following Terms of Agreement:

I am 21 years of age or older. I agree to accept 2 scheduled club shipments prior to cancelling. Cancellations must be in writing & received 30 days before a shipment. Shipments require an adult signature and valid government issued photo identification of someone 21 or older. The credit card on file will be charged prior to shipping. Shipping charges for returned & redelivered shipments will be at the customer’s expense.

By joining the wine club, buyer authorizes seller to act on buyer's behalf in arranging for transportation of the wine at buyer's direction. Alternatively, buyer may choose to pick up the wine at seller's location, or make independent shipping arrangements. For wine picked up at the seller's location, sales tax will be applied based on that location. Prices of our wines do not include shipping/handling charges, the cost of which varies depending on destination, number of bottles ordered and choice of delivery options.


WARNING: Many food and beverage cans have linings containing bisphenol A (BPA), a chemical known to the State of California to cause harm to the female reproductive system. Jar lids and bottle caps may also contain BPA. You can be exposed to BPA when you consume foods or beverages packaged in these containers. For more information go to: www.P65Warnings.ca.gov/BPA.
