2020 Kashmir

A blast from the past! This vintage hails from our Estate Vineyard with Syrah grapes planted by Joe and his father. Bursts at the seams with wet earth, violet, sweet tobacco, black cherry, red plum and pencil lead. Finishes beautifully with berry compote, hoisin, fresh cinnamon stick, lavender and granite; soft, dusty notes reminiscent of driving through a worn country road in dad's pick-up truck. A wonderful texturally driven wine, reminiscent of red velvet. Pairs with a cashmere sweater on Christmas day listening to Baby, It's Cold Outside. Delicious now with braised duck but will peak in 5-7 years.
