2019 Purple Rain

Pinot Noir
Sold Out

*Wine Club Members Only* This if our 4rd vintage ever of Pinot Noir and 2nd vintage sourced from the Boekenoogen Vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands in Monterey County. A beautiful, rocky vineyard that gets a marine layer almost every morning and mild coastal weather which adds to the minerality and deep flavor in the fruit. This vintage has black, blue and red fruit notes of currants, dried blueberries, raspberries and pomegranate. Wet, mossy, forest floor aromas with mushrooms, sage brush and chaparral. Sweet leather and a slight spice of green and pink peppercorns rounding out this delicious wine. With silky, soft tannins and fresh acidity on the finish, this will pair nicely with grilled pork, fish and creamy pastas. Drink now or for the next 2-4 years.
