2021 Kashmir

Always a favorite wine in our line up, and a wine we never make enough of. This vintage of Kashmir hails from our Estate Vineyard with Syrah grapes planted by Joe and his father. Blackberry, red plum and cocao nibs stand out on the nose, as more subtle hints of pencil shavings, cinnamon stick, bay leaf & garam marsala round out the aroma. Brighter fruit shows on the palate including ripe raspberry and dried cranberry perfectly balanced by more decadent flavors of mocha, freshly ground nutmeg and clove, graham cracker, Herbs de Provence & wet granite. Delicious now, but should peak in 5-7 years.
