Our Story
Farming is at the core of who both Joe & Jenny Barton are as humans. Jenny’s dad was a grain farmer and Joe’s dad was a grape farmer. Hence, Grain + Vine was born from the convergence of two different walks of life and a true representation of the fabric of California’s rich agricultural history. Grain + Vine is a product of Joe & Jenny paying tribute to the hard work of both of their dads and the values that they passed down.
Our Spirits
Introducing unconventional whiskeys as well as traditionally focused gins, rums, and vodkas. Each spirit is handcrafted with curiosity and intention in mind.

100% Potato | 80 proof
Tasting notes: Smooth, clean, light. Soft and creamy notes, slight nuttiness, sweet finish.

100% Brandy base | 92 proof
Distilled 3x. On the 3rd distillation it goes through the gin basket. We made this to be more of a London dry style.
Botanicals include juniper, coriander, angelica, fennel, cardamom, and citrus.
Tasting notes: Slightly sweet notes from the brandy, juniper, slight licorice, coriander.

Made with molasses & sugar cane | 95 proof
Aged for almost 4.5 years in our used whiskey barrels.
Tasting notes: Banana, vanilla, butterscotch, toasted hazelnut, dried apricot and pineapple.

75% corn, 21% rye, 4% malted barley | 102 proof
Aged 2.5 years in new American oak barrels.
Tasting notes: Toffee, caramel, vanilla, dried fruit, light rye spice notes.

90% Rye, 10% malted barley. | 100 proof.
Aged 3.5 years in new American oak barrels.
Tasting notes: Caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and mint.
