This blend of Zinfandel and Petite Sirah makes for a very powerful and structured wine with great aging potential. Blackberry, black cherry, and cola are met with fabulous notes of pecan and brown sugar, reminiscent of a berry cobbler. Darker blue fruit, smoked meat, and squid ink create a rich texture and a complex finish. A hint of American oak on the finish adds length to a wine that will age gracefully over the next 8-10 years.
