Counoise is a fabulous grape originally from the Rhône region and becoming very popular in Paso Robles due to our similar climate. Wild strawberries, raspberries, spices of purple basil, Tahitian vanilla and anise dance on the palate. With nice acidity, medium body and tannins, this wine is a crowd pleaser! Usually blended with other red Rhône varietals it is rare to find it on its own and we only made two barrels! Enjoy now or over the next 4-6 years.
