Showing a sense of place, our Tempranillo comes from a limestone covered vineyard in the Willow Creek District. Originating from the Pesquera clone in the Ribera del Duero region of Spain, our Tempranillo is characterized by concentrated ripe black fruit notes, and dry, chalky tannins. Black currants, tart blackberries and cocoa nibs on the nose, with chocolate covered cherries and toasted oak rounding out the palate. Pairs well with smoked, grilled meats and will age nicely for the next 6-8 years.
